Lockdown Your WordPress Website
The Mule Force WordPress plugin locks down your WordPress website in some unique ways that aren't part of the default install. Unfortunately we can't tell you about all of them as that would also tell potential threats what to look for, but we can tell you about one.
One of the major ones is changing the way incorrect login messages are handled. By default it will say incorrect username / password if both are incorrect but if only the password is it will indicate this. By changing the message when the username is correct this gives potential hackers 50% of the information they need to hack your site. Our plugin changes this message so hackers can't use it to guess your username.
